Following on from the successful preview of our new Care Tech and Care Tech Plus range of healthcare carpets at the ICG (Independent Care Group) event at York Racecourse last month, we're delighted to be launching these excellent products to a wider audience, today, at the Dementia Care Show at Birmingham's NEC. The exhibition is on today, the 4th, and tomorrow, the 5th November, and will attract thousands of Care sector delegates from all over the country, as well as overseas.
Featuring 40 attractive colour-ways and specifically designed for care home environments, Birch Carpets have consulted with DSDC (Dementia Services Design Centre), University of Stirling, to ensure that the new Care Tech carpet range is particularly appropriate for use in buildings for people with dementia.
Our, painstaking, attention to detail has also ensured that Care Tech is engineered to the highest standards, is ultra-durable and features outstanding stain resistant, anti-microbial and sound reduction properties.
Care Tech, itself, has a 30 colour palette and features a high quality, polypropylene fibre yarn, a dense, but cushioning, foam backing and integral anti-microbial protection. Care Tech Plus is manufactured using 100% Solution Dyed Nylon, is available in a further 10 complementary colour-ways, and otherwise has the same high quality backing and added value benefits. Both qualities are suitable for contract environments, with the Care Tech Plus being particularly suitable for the heaviest wear areas.
If you're looking for a carpet range that reflects your commitment to providing exceptional care, you'll find Care Tech fits in beautifully.
This year's Care Show also features the re-launch of our highly popular Zeta Tech, entry level, care-sector carpet. This product has a proven track record and, now, features 4 completely plain colour-ways which DSDC have confirmed is helpful for people who have any visual impairment or perceptual problems. Zeta Tech is ideal when budgets are tight, or replacement cycles are high. Produced on an impervious gel backing, and featuring stain-resistant, easy-clean, polypropylene fibre yarn, Zeta Tech also features an anti-microbial treatment which successfully combats the growth of bacteria, such as MRSA and E.coli.
We're particularly delighted that Zeta Tech, colour 50438 Sunrise, has been chosen to feature on the DSDC 'Social Club' concept stand, at this year's exhibition.
