Birch Carpets are pleased to be exhibiting again at the Care Show 2013, at the NEC Birmingham, as part of our on-going commitment to this event.
Set up day was Monday 11th which, as usual with these things, throws up a number of logistical challenges but all was well in the end, and both our own stand and our contribution to the Dementia Design Academy stand, in association with DSDC University of Stirling, were completed in plenty of time
The exhibition runs for yesterday and today, the 12th and 13th November, and so far visitor numbers, and interest, have been encouraging. Our Sales Director, Gary Middleton, who will be in attendance for the two days, commented...
"It's vital for us to have a meaningful presence at this type of event. It's the perfect opportunity for us, as a company, to get first hand insight into the latest thinking on a vital area like Dementia Care which, in turn, allows us to build that cutting edge thinking into our products. It's also great to get amongst the key decision makers in the Care sector, to get their feedback on our growing range of Care carpets".
There is a particular emphasis on Dementia Care at the exhibition, with key note speakers, and professional and clinical advice, being at the core of a general effort to impart the latest knowledge and thinking on how best to create appropriate environments for Dementia patients.
The photo below shows our Care Tech carpet colour Nutmeg on the central Dementia Design Academy display -a full size dementia care bedroom, en suite bathroom, kitchen, dining room and garden.
We'd also be delighted to see you on our stand E5 at the exhibition today - hurry along and speak to Gary and colleague Michael Gillespie.
